The UK process is the same UCAS form and the same UCAT, but the shortlist, the paperwork and the interview logistics are different for an international applicant. The package is built around those differences rather than bolting them on.
International places are capped at most UK medical schools, often around 7.5% of the intake, a handful of schools take home students only, and tuition runs to roughly £30,000 to £70,000 a year (see our international fees guide). Your mentor shortlists the schools where your grades, UCAT score and fee status genuinely compete, using the same data behind our UK medical schools guide.
IB, A levels taught overseas, CBSE, AP, ATAR, HKDSE, Singapore A levels and Canadian Grade 12 are all read against each school's published equivalences, so you never apply somewhere that cannot accept your qualification. Predicted grades and school references are checked before the UCAS deadline of 15 October.

Students in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Auckland usually sit the UCAT ANZ in July or early August and come to us once the score is in. That is a good moment to start: the most time-boxed part of the UK application is done, and every tutoring hour can go on the parts that are still open.
The same route works from anywhere: if you sat the UCAT in Dubai, Singapore, Toronto or Mumbai in the summer, join in August or September and the Bronze package with all 20 hours on interviews is often enough.
UCAT ANZ results are accepted for UK medicine and dentistry, but they are only sent to UK universities if you complete the UCAT ANZ Results Collection form on the UK site. For 2027 entry the form closes on 22 October 2026. We check it is done.
Your mentor converts the SJT scaled score to a UK band and shortlists the four medicine choices where the score, your ATAR or IB and your fee status compete best, ahead of the 15 October UCAS deadline.

Offers are typical standard A level offers; IB, AP, CBSE and other equivalences are on each school's profile. Fees are the latest published year 1 international figures and rise in clinical years.
Before the UCAS deadline your mentor puts your UCAT decile, predicted grades and fee status against each of the five and says plainly which are realistic. That conversation happens in September, not after the rejections.
The strongest list usually pairs one or two of these with schools where your score competes comfortably, so an offer is likely wherever the top choice lands. Every school on the list is checked for international eligibility first.

Every school publishes its own equivalences and they are not the same. These are the typical ranges; each card links to the country guide with the per-school table, and your mentor checks your exact profile against every school on your list.
International schools worldwide
Most UK medical schools ask for 36 or more points with 6,6,6 at Higher Level including Chemistry and Biology. The range runs from 34 points to 41 or 42 at Cambridge, and the HL grades are conditions of the offer too.
IB requirements for medicine in the UKUAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Malaysia, Nigeria, China
Typical offers are A*AA to AAA including Chemistry and Biology. National certificates such as the Thanawiya, Tawjihiyah, SPM, WAEC or Gaokao are not accepted on their own for medicine, so the A level or IB route usually decides where you can apply.
Applying to UK medicine from the UAEIndia
You can apply straight after Class 12 with no NEET. Schools want strong Biology and Chemistry results and publish their own percentage thresholds, which differ between universities, plus proof of English. Most UK degrees are NMC-recognised for returning to India.
How to apply to UK medical schools from IndiaUSA
Most schools want the Diploma plus around three APs at grade 5 including Chemistry and Biology. There is no pre-med degree and no MCAT: a UK MBBS takes five to six years from high school, and the USMLE route is open afterwards.

Schools publish ATAR or IB thresholds for international applicants alongside the UCAT ANZ, which is accepted in the UK. No GAMSAT is needed for undergraduate entry. Interviews are online, in your evening.

Offers sit around 5,5,5 including Chemistry and Biology, and many schools publish HKDSE requirements directly. If you plan to practise in Hong Kong, the shortlist is built from MCHK-recognised universities.

Around AAA at H2, or 38 to 42 IB points, with the UCAT as the only admissions test. Choosing from the Singapore Medical Council's recognised list keeps the option of registering back home.

You can apply straight from Grade 12 without a prior degree. Most schools want an average around 85 to 90 percent, or 5s in relevant APs, or 36 to 40 IB points, including Biology and Chemistry, and usually IELTS.

SPM alone is not enough for UK medicine: you need A levels, STPM or the IB, plus IELTS at around 7.0 to 7.5. Most UK medicine from Malaysia is now self-funded, which makes the fee-status shortlist even more important.

Most UK medical schools ask international applicants to prove English. For medicine the bar is high: offers typically require IELTS Academic at 7.0 to 7.5 overall with minimums in each component. Your mentor checks the exact condition for every school on your list and builds the test date into your plan.
IELTS requirements for medicine in the UKFor a degree course such as the MBBS the university assesses your English, so IELTS Academic is usually fine. A below-degree route, such as a medicine foundation year, needs a Student visa SELT, which means IELTS for UKVI. Book the right type from the start.
Some schools waive the test for applicants educated in English, or accept other qualifications in its place, and others do not. We check each school's policy against your schooling rather than assuming.
An offer condition that is missed by half a band is still a missed condition. We schedule the first sitting early enough that a second attempt fits before results and confirmation.
Interviewers assume fluency with NHS vocabulary, ethics language and the UK news cycle. Interview coaching and personal statement editing address that directly; they are not a substitute for IELTS, but they are where a strong applicant is often let down.

Yes, and it is the same programme UK families buy. Everything runs online, your doctor mentor schedules around your time zone, and the parts of the process that differ for international applicants, fee-status shortlisting, curriculum equivalences, English tests and online interviews, are built into your plan from the initial consultation. Roughly one in five of our package students applies from outside the UK.
Gold, with 50 hours, is our most common choice at home and abroad because it leaves room for the UCAT, the statement and every interview without rationing. Platinum, with 75 hours, suits students starting early or who want the deepest interview preparation, which is why it carries the international badge. If you have already sat the UCAT or the UCAT ANZ, Bronze with all 20 hours on interviews is often enough, and hours can be added later.
Ideally about a year before you apply, which leaves time to plan work experience, wider reading and the UCAT properly and to sort IELTS and funding evidence without a rush. The other natural start point is straight after your UCAT or UCAT ANZ result in August, when the hours go on university choice, the statement and interviews. The hard stop is the UCAS deadline of 15 October, 18:00 UK time, for entry the following September; students who join in September still do well, but with less of the programme to use.
All tutoring is 1-1 over video and booked around you. In practice UK mornings suit evenings in Sydney, Singapore and Hong Kong, UK afternoons suit the Gulf and India after school, and UK evenings suit Canada and the US after school. Your UCAT ANZ score is accepted for UK medicine and dentistry provided you complete the UCAT ANZ Results Collection form on the UK UCAT site by 22 October 2026 for 2027 entry (see our UCAT ANZ vs UCAT UK guide). With the test done, your hours go on university selection around your actual score, a personal statement written for a UK reader and interview coaching in the online format UK schools use. The same applies if you sat the UCAT anywhere else.

We are not immigration advisers and do not give visa advice. What we do is plan the year so the visa is not the thing that goes wrong: the university issues your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) only after you have firmly accepted an unconditional offer, so results, English test scores and evidence of funding all need to be ready by then. Your mentor builds those dates into the plan and points you to each university's own international office for the visa itself.
We can tell you honestly whether they are realistic for your profile, and prepare you properly if they are. These five attract the most international applications and have the fewest international places, so they sit at the top of the UCAT and grade range and no tutor can promise an offer. What your mentor does is compare your UCAT decile, predicted grades and fee status against each, build a four-choice list that pairs your strongest realistic choice with schools where your odds are better, and coach you in the interview format each uses: panels at Oxford and Cambridge, MMIs at Imperial, UCL and King's. Most UK medical schools now interview international applicants online, using MMI or panel formats over video, so you can interview from home. A few still require attendance, which we flag when shortlisting. Our interview coaching and mock interviews run in the same online format at a time that suits your time zone.

Last year, 98% of our students who completed 20 or more hours of interview tutoring and sat at least one interview received an offer: 100 of 102. The initial one-hour consultation is for the student and parents together, the mentor keeps parents updated by WhatsApp through the year, and parents are welcome at review points. Many of the reviews on this page are written by parents in Dubai, Toronto, Mumbai and Hong Kong for that reason.
