“Applying to UK medical schools from Canada felt overwhelming at first because there were so many differences compared with applications here. I thought the UK would be a better option for us as the Canadian system is so tough now. My doctor mentor explained every stage clearly, from UCAT…”

The clinicians behind the programme
Your mentor is one of the qualified doctors or dentists on our team, matched by hand after you join, with UCAT and interview specialists teaching your 1-1 hours. These are the clinicians who lead the programme.
Dr Akash Gandhi
Founder & Lead Medicine Mentor
MBBS (Dist), MA (Cantab), MRCGP
Akash is an NHS GP and our founder. He received all four of his own offers to study medicine, graduated from Cambridge with a first class degree and from UCL with a distinction, and has mentored students through UK medical admissions since 2012. He leads the medicine mentors on the Ultimate Package.
Dr Sonal Gandhi

Sonal is a dentist who graduated from King's College London and received all four of her own offers to study dentistry. She has sat on dental admissions panels, leads our dentistry interview programme and leads the dentistry mentors on the Ultimate Package.

UCC consultant, A&E registrar
Jonathan graduated in medicine from Oxford in 2018 and is now a UCC consultant and A&E registrar. He co-leads our medicine interview programme, designing the mock stations and the hot topic teaching that Ultimate students work through in interview season, and training the interview experts who run the 1-1 sessions.
Dr Shaneil Tanna

Shaneil won his own place at Imperial College London and is now an NHS GP in London. He also holds a BSc in Management, so he coaches the strategy of an application as closely as the content, and he has published peer-reviewed research on medical education. After you pay
How onboarding and your mentor work
From payment to your first lesson, here is what happens and when. Your mentor is a qualified doctor or dentist who has been through the process and now sits on the other side of it.
1. Pay, in full or in three
Secure Stripe checkout. Choose one payment or three monthly card payments that end automatically after the third.
2. A short onboarding form
Emailed straight away. About three minutes: who the student is, where they are in the application, and what they have done so far, so the consultation starts from the real picture.
3. Your mentor is confirmed
Matched by hand, usually within 48 hours. If a mentor was agreed when you enquired, that is who you hear from. They introduce themselves on WhatsApp.
4. The initial consultation
A one-hour video call for the student and parents. Your mentor maps the whole year, names the gaps while there is time to fix them, and agrees how the hours will be spent.
Every lesson summary lands in the member portal for students and parents, and your mentor stays reachable on WhatsApp for the whole application. Compare all the tiers if you are still deciding.
What is included
What does the Ultimate Package include?
Every stage of the application is supported by the mentor allocated to you, a qualified doctor or dentist. It includes everything we offer, and everything you should need for your application, whether you are in Year 11, 12 or 13.
1. Initial consultation
A one-hour video call for you and your parents with your mentor, who is a qualified doctor or dentist. They map the whole year, name the gaps in your application while there is still time to fix them, and answer every question you both have.
2. Flexible 1-1 hours
Your package includes a block of 1-1 hours with our subject experts, and you decide where they go. Put them all into UCAT tutoring, split them across the year, or hold some back for interview season. Already sat the UCAT? Put every hour into interview coaching and mocks instead, no problem. You can add more hours later.
3. Work experience
Your mentor shows you how to arrange placements and virtual experience, and tells you plainly what “enough” work experience really means, so you stop guessing and start reflecting on what you have seen.
4. Personal statement
Five edits of your personal statement by qualified professionals, plus our exclusive online guide. You keep reworking it until you and your mentor are both happy with it.
5. UCAT
Our one-day UCAT course, the exclusive online UCAT guide, and 1-1 hours with tutors who scored in the top decile themselves.
6. Strategic university selection
Often the most valuable part of the package. Your mentor weighs your scores, your grades and your preferences and steers you to the universities where your application competes best.
7. Interviews and mocks
1-1 interview coaching, mock panel and MMI circuits with live feedback, and access to our question and answer guide, written by qualified professionals and kept up to date through the season.
8. Support all year
Your mentor is on hand by WhatsApp throughout the application, for you and for your parents. Same person, start to finish, so nobody has to explain your situation twice.
Personalised and bespoke
A plan built around your year, not a template
Your mentor builds a revision and application plan covering everything you have to complete, then keeps it current as your scores, grades and university shortlist change.
One plan, kept current
Deadlines, work experience, UCAT or SAQ preparation and interview practice, all in one place for students, parents and mentor.
Answers when you need them
Your mentor is reachable by WhatsApp throughout the application, for the student and for the parents.
Honest steering
If a university is a poor fit for your scores, your mentor says so early, while the shortlist can still change.
Choose your programme
Ultimate Packages by subject
Each subject page carries its own tiers, mentors and the individual packages you can buy on their own.
Medicine packages
Mentored by an NHS doctor, from the UCAT through to interviews.
It is our complete application programme. A qualified doctor or dentist is allocated to you as your mentor for the whole application year and covers every stage: the initial consultation, work experience, the UCAT, your personal statement, university selection, interviews and mocks. On top of that you get a block of flexible 1-1 tutoring hours to spend wherever you need them.
What is the difference between the tiers?
Only the number of flexible 1-1 hours. Every tier is the same complete programme with the same mentoring, the same personal statement edits and the same guides. Choose the tier that matches how much 1-1 teaching you want.
When should we join?
Most families join about a year before applying, which gives the mentor room to plan work experience and preparation properly. We do accept students up to August of the application year and they do well, but the earlier you start, the more of the programme you can use.
Can we pay in instalments?
Yes. Every Ultimate Package can be paid in full or in three monthly card payments. The instalment plan ends automatically after the third payment and the total is the same as the advertised price.
Are the hours flexible?
Completely. You could spend the lot on UCAT preparation, hold it all back for interview season, or split it across the year as your application needs. If you have already sat the UCAT, put every hour into interview coaching and mocks, no problem. Personal statement edits are included on top and do not use your hours.
Who will my mentor be?
One of the qualified doctors or dentists on our team, all of whom have taken students through UK admissions: a doctor for medicine, a dentist for dentistry. Your mentor is matched by hand after you join. Medicine mentoring is led by our founder Dr Akash and dentistry by Dr Sonal, and if you have already agreed a mentor with us, that is who you get.
What if I have already sat the UCAT?
Then none of your hours need to go on it. Many students join after their UCAT and put every hour into 1-1 interview coaching and mock interviews, no problem. Your mentor still covers the rest of the year: personal statement edits, university selection around your actual UCAT score and the whole interview season. Bronze with all 20 hours on interviews is a popular choice at this stage, and the bigger tiers simply give you more interview practice.
Do you support dentistry applicants too?
Yes. The medicine and dentistry Ultimate Packages are the same programme and the same tiers. Dentistry applicants are mentored by a dentist and their personal statement, university choices and interview preparation are all dentistry specific. See the dentistry packages page for the full dentistry line-up.
Who is Platinum for?
Platinum suits families who want the most teaching we offer: 75 hours spread across the UCAT and a long interview season, with room for a mock interview for every university on the list. It is the tier most international families choose, because their applications carry extra work, fee-status shortlisting, time zones and unfamiliar interview formats, and it suits early starters who can spread lessons across two academic years.
What happens straight after we pay?
We email you straight away with a short onboarding form, then match your mentor by hand and confirm them, usually within 48 hours. Your mentor gets in touch on WhatsApp to arrange the initial consultation, a one-hour video call for you and your parents that plans the whole year. Your tutoring hours are scheduled from there, at times that suit you.
