"I had taken a year out after getting no offers last cycle. I felt like I had strong academics and work experience, but interviews let me down.
 
This time, I decided to invest properly in prep and signed up for 20 hours of interview tutoring. I was matched with Harry, and from the first session, I could tell it was going to be different.
 
We talked about strategy and delivery not just content. How to stay calm, how to respond when I did not know the answer, how to bring in personal experiences naturally to make my answers unique. He also gave me tough feedback when I needed it and made me practise on the spot.

By my third session, I already felt more confident. We did full mock MMIs and focused sessions for each school.

We live overseas and had no idea what to expect when our daughter was invited to multiple interviews for UK medical schools. The whole MMI system was unfamiliar, and we felt unsure how best to support her. We were lucky to come across TheUKCATPeople and spoke directly with Dr Akash, who was kind and clear about what would be helpful.

He recommended booking a package of sessions to give her proper time to prepare. We started with ten hours, but once she received more interviews, we added more. She ended up working with Rebecca, who was excellent.

They covered a wide range of topics - ethics, role play, communication, NHS structure, motivation - all tailored to the individual universities. But more than anything, what stood out was how much more confident our daughter became. After a few sessions, she began thinking more clearly and answering with much more structure and purpose.
