Overview of The University of Sheffield Dental School
The course in Sheffield Dental Hospital is divided into nine integrated themes. Throughout the course they aim to teach you theory alongside clinical practice so you'll develop an understanding of dental science and its clinical application.

During the course you will learn how to treat patients of all ages with increasingly complex care needs. You'll learn more about oral diseases, their causes, how they develop and how to recognise, diagnose and prevent them.

Semi-Structured Panel Interview and separate Interpersonal skills test
27th February to 3rd March 2023
All applicants who have been selected for an interview will be invited to attend a panel-based structured interview during the week of 27th February - 3rd March 2023
Interviews will be conducted by two members of staff and one senior student and will last for approximately 15 minutes with questions that aim to assess:
Motivation for the course
Motivation for the profession and knowledge of current issues
Evidence of independent thought
Evidence of ability to apply knowledge
Relevant experience, communication, personal qualities and values.
