“Harry got my UCAT up to 2,590, working through the sections I kept dropping marks on week by week. Gemma then ran my interview practice so the MMI stations didn't catch me out, and Dr Akash mentored me the whole way through. I'm off to King's for Medicine.”

GAMSAT tutoring questions
Who teaches the GAMSAT sessions?
Tutors who sat the GAMSAT themselves and scored highly, and who now study or work in medicine. They are picked for their own section scores and for being able to explain how they got them. Every tutor holds an enhanced DBS check.
Which sections do you cover?
All three. Section I reasoning in humanities and social sciences, Section II written communication with every essay marked and fed back, and Section III reasoning in the biological and physical sciences. You decide the split, and the diagnostic first session usually decides it for you.
How many hours do I need?
If one section is dragging your score down, 5 hours is usually enough to change how you approach it. If you want all three covered with practice in between, 10 hours is the common choice. 15 hours is the full programme and the lowest hourly rate, and is what most people take when they are sitting for the first time or retaking after a disappointing score.
Is my essay marked?
Yes. Section II work is marked against the criteria the GAMSAT uses and returned with specific fixes, not a grade. Repeat marking across a package is what makes Section II move.
Are the sessions online?
Yes, all sessions are online and scheduled around your work or study, including evenings and weekends. Lesson summaries are saved to your online dashboard.
How soon can we start?
Once your details are in we match a tutor and book the first session, usually within 2 working days. If your sitting is close, say so on the form and we will prioritise it.
Do you also help with graduate-entry applications?
Yes, though they are separate services. We coach graduate-entry personal statements and interviews, including the GAMSAT route, and can pick those up once your sitting is behind you.
Can I add more hours later?
Yes. Tell your tutor or our team and we will add the hours and keep you with the same tutor wherever possible.
